Academic Experience

As the first person in my immediate family to pursue a bachelor's degree, I wanted to set myself up for success. I began my college journey at Hillsborough Community College in 2020, where I earned my Associate of Arts in business administration. I enjoyed my time at HCC, as I was able to develop my skills in multitasking, communication, and more. I made the dean's list every semester, and in May of 2022, I graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

In fall of 2022, I began my enrollment at the University of South Florida, where I am pursuing my Bachelor's degree in accounting. I am enjoying the challenge of my upper-level courses, as not only am I learning more about the work of my career field, I am also getting closer to starting my career in the accounting field. I have maintained my 3.8 GPA, and I have become a part of the Latino Scholarship Program. This program is helping me to develop my leadership skills and knowledge of business. I am expected to graduate from USF in July of 2024.
